Also, my apologies for not following the rules on the Las Vegas Bowl. I was out of town, and didn’t get to adjust before the game. All remaining picks have now been adjusted for the rules.
Damn, how many bullshit calls does USC get everybowl game.
USC-Stanford in 2007 has got to be a contender. Stanford won and they were something like a 41 or 42 pt underdog. I’d look it up but I’m puttering along on my iPhone.
The identity of the replay officials has been leaked:
One Mr. *S. Speilberg *and one Mr. G. Lucas.
.
We woulda won anyways!
Also, not to be insensitive toward the guy or nuthin’, but I’m switching my vote to Cincy in the Sugar Bowl. Losing the SEC, playing a consolation bowl, and losing their rock star head coach. I don’t think even Tebow will give a shit about this game.
Unless they get all fired up and go out with a “win one for the Urbster” attitude.
A couple of those reviewed calls smelled like 5 day old tuna. The blocker was “blocked into” the punt. Hey refs, he was doing the blocking for the punt returner, he was not being blocked.
OK, I haven’t watched a ton of Clemson football, but is this one of their regular uniforms? Cuz, damn, they’re ugly as a motherfucker.
WTF!?! Are we allowed to change our picks? Nevermind. This is the first game for me where I picked the underdog. I’m SEC all the way.
You can change anytime before the start of the game, right?
0-1 for the SEC thus far. Poop. I thought Clemson would win it, but I was secretly hoping KY would pull it out. Pretty dull game all around, really. Good D on both sides, but mistakes kept it from being very exciting.
I’m kicking ass now, I have won three in a row. I am so glad that Rich Brooks and Kentucky lost. ACC finally wins a bowl game. The Refs took the game away from Boston College.
HOLD THAT TIGER! HOLD THAT TIGER! Congrats Clemson.
Those orange and blue uniforms weren’t that bad, BTW.
I got UGA is tomorrows bowl.
OK, yeah. I got used to 'em. I just found them jarring at first.
Kentucky? How the hell did I end up on Kentucky, I was trying to bet against the SEC.
Barnburner in Shreveport. 27 minutes with no scoring…it’s now 7-7 going to halftime.
FWIW, in my conference bowl scorecard (points given based on teams standing in their conference), the MWC (3-0) leads with 17 points, followed by the Big East (2-0) with 8. The ACC (1-2) brings up the rear with -3.5 points. The SEC only lost a half point yesterday, as Kentucky was the #9 team in the conference so couldn’t have been expected to win anyway.
ETA: ok, so now it’s turning into a track meet, just to make me look bad.
7-7, huh?
What’s the deal with texas tech? Suing and suspending a coach for putting a guy with a concussion in a dark room? There must be more to it, because that sounds like what you usually do for a concussion.
That game has one team missing a coach and the other team missing the team.
About the BC/USC game, how many points do you give to (or take way from) the refs? :dubious:
Well, I have fought and clawed my way out of last place. I am now in next-to-last place place.
**How 'bout them Dawgs!! **
As we used to say at Ga Tech:
Piss on 'em
And the “Offensive Stats Don’t Mean Shit Unless You Score” award for the 2009 Bowl Season goes to TAMU. We’ll have QB Johnson up to accept it, if UGA promises not to intercept it and run it back for 6 points.
