Doesn’t Dish Network carry FX? That’s what OSU-Mizzou was on today.
Miami actually played a good game today! Woo! I never would have predicted Miami and GT to combine for just 466 yards of offense. I would have thought both teams would go for 400 each. UVA and Duke are the next 2 games, so Miami can hopefully get things rolling on both sides of the ball for 4 quarters as a good prep for the trip to Tallahassee.
ETA: No one caught it, but on the previous play, the clock kept running for two or three seconds after the incompletion. They should have had six or seven seconds, not 4.
Musberger just said MSU had no penalties in the game. Go Green.
I had nothing invested in it, but damn am I glad I recorded ans watched the Wisconsin Michigan St. game. Great game. Good review on the final play.
I’m a first year high school official, and I thought it was a TD on first viewing, but that’s what video review is for, after all. (It was kinda funny how the head ref started running upon his announcement of TD.)
I thought games concluding with a ‘walk-off’ TD (in regulation) had to have a extra point kick. (maybe that is the NFL). Wisconsin was ~7 pt favorite, so that part of the equation was irrelevant.
I guess the countdown has begun in Tuscaloosa for the de-facto National championship game . My guess it is about 322 hours from now. 7:10 PM Tuscaloosa time.
Well, holy crap, Tech pulled it out. From the looks of it, even OU is admitting that they were just plain outplayed, no excuses. The Norman win streak has ended.
Huge lightning storms. Barely got the peewee playoff games I worked today in before they hit. Also, HA-HA.
OSU won, with starters missing time for injuries on offense. This defense may give up yards galore, but they get stops as the field gets shorter and they do an excellent job of forcing turnovers. I am no longer panicking when the D needs to take over the game like I would have done two years ago. Now our kick coverage units aren’t quite as reassuring…
Checking the box score from last night. It says 40,219 attended the UConn at Pitt game. If that is true, then Heinz field must have a 157,000 capacity.
