Comcast remotes suck

I never have had a problem with Comcast remotes. I’ve even figured out how to do menu functions on my TV with it. The only problem I have with them is the numbers rubbing off the buttons after a time. But I’m too lazy to drive to their office and swap it out. It’s not that big a deal anyway.

Anyone here have one that works properly, meaning it doesn’t require pressing so hard that you nearly break the remote in two for the channel to change?

This is my first time with Comcast in years. However, I have many friends and relatives with Comcast and it always seems like the remotes completely suck. I can press the channel button 10 times and maybe 3 of them register. The only way to use it is to press as insanely hard as I can.

Am I right here? Anyone else?

How funny. Ours just started doing this in the last couple of months. About half of the buttons work almost-OK, half need a hammer applied.

Mine works okay most of the time. The only problem I’ve noticed is that when I’m looking at programs under the “guide” function and moving forward in time, it will occasionally lose its mind and I end up in the 900 channels.

Mine does something similar. As I’m scrolling through the programming, it seems to decide to show me what it has On Demand at random intervals. It happens to my roommate too, so it’s not just me fat fingering it.
