Feel free to correct my misspelling above of the word definite.
Also, I left out “is not” after the word “apparently” in my last posting.

What is it you object to about AlahAkbar’s posts? Is this another case of there being no Islamic terrorists since terrorism is against Islam?

Testy,
I’m sorry, but I don’t spend time on a dissection of that member’s posts.
If I come here under the pretext to be a Christian and start posting according the most obvious stereotypes known by non Christians and Christians alike as being “fundamentalistic”, and in addition to that throw in my post the most hilarious incorrect “Christian” dogmas and “truths”, every Christian shall see immediately what I mean when I say that this poster is to me a fake.
By the way: the fact alone that he uses the name of God - no matter if the spelling is incorrect - as his membername says enough to me.
Allahu Akbar -God (He) is the greatest - is said by Muslims all day long in admiration and love to God.
He calls himself that. Very funny indeed. Yet most Muslims wouldn’t see it as funny at all.

I am well aware that most Moslems would not name themselves “Allah.” Mr. Akbar has not done so, merely chosen a common Arabic phrase to represent himself on an anonymous message board.

Please, please my friends, understand that my name Is AlahAkbar. I do not spell my name as that of the Lord, peace be upon him.
You do use the name of God and in addition you combine it to the phrase we use all day long to worship Him.
There is no other excuse for doing so then the fact that you have no idea about Islam. No Muslim would even remotely use something sounding like this particular phrase to refer to himself.
I’m sorry but you are a joke. Maybe it would be wiser if you go try to play your silly game on message boards where no Muslims can detect your sillyness?

ALDE,
My friend, please do not be angry with me, do not put a price on my head as your people did with Salmon Rushdie. I am ALAHAKBAR and if you do not like it than so be it.
Testy,
This is not no matter which “common Arabic phrase”.
It is not a “common Arabic phrase”.
It is how Muslims call upon God and not only during prayers.
It is how millions of people all over the globe adress themselves to God daily.
God’s name is mentioned with the Arabic word Allah in combination with AKBAR, which is the superlatif of the word kabir - which means great - . And a superlatif used here in the meaning of “greater then whatever else you can ever think of or whatever can ever be possible”.
No Muslim shall ever use this phrase to name himself.
Nowhere under no circumstances you shall see any Muslim do this.
And no Muslim shall ever use the single Allah to refer to himself.
A derivation, like this poster does, writing it as Alah makes no other difference then that it is grammatically incorrectly written.
If you write it in Arabic and forget the shadda above the lam (L) to indicate the doubling of the letter, you make a grammatical error and that’s all. You don’t have an other word.
There is a verb of the second form written alla(h) which means: to deify someone, to make a god of someone.
In the fifth form this verb has the meaning "to become a deity, a godhead; to deify oneself.

This is really funny, he exposed himself once again.
No Muslim would call me “friend”.
Muslims call other Muslims “brother” and “sister”.

Gee, aldebaran, for someone against so many muslim stereotypes, you sure do make a lot of sweeping generalizations.
Aldebaran —you and I rarely agree—however—you are a member in good standing of this Message Board, and have the same rights as the rest of us. This fellow is deliberately mis-representing your religion in order to ridicule it. This may violate our “hate-speech” rules. In addition, his false claim of being a Muslim may constitute “sock puppetry”; a slang term for a Board Member creating a second, false identity on the Board to mislead others. I suggest you contact the Forum Moderators and file a complaint. You have every right to, as it is obvious he is trying to bait you.
Salaam aleikum Bosda,
I know very well that I can come across as a bit shocking and provoking to many, that my writing style isn’t the most easy to read and that my approach of the discussed issues lies two cultures away from what one sees as mainstream on message boards like this.
Yet, agreement is not a necessity to have a decent conversation, and I would say that disagreements are a necessity to establish interesting debates.
Thank you for the suggestion. I’ve send notice to the moderators about what is going on in my opinion.

Yes, the United States has been accused of doing all of those things and, indeed, those who considered themselves God’s freedom fighters then brought the war to us on our home turf.
They (the terrorists on 9/11) had the same perspective as you. Can’t you see what the result of that kind of thinking has done?
Heck, plans to oust and/or kill Saddam should’ve been put in place the day after he waltzed into Kuwait. For all this handwringing about the U.S. staging an invasion of a sovereign nation, Kuwait seems to have been forgotten or deliberately overlooked. Maybe that shouldn’t count, since it was an internal Arab matter, or some such bullshit.
My only compaint about the U.S. invasion of 2003 is that it should have been done 12 years earlier, but c’est la vie.
As for picking-and-choosing which dictators to topple, well that just puts the needle in the red zone on my “duh-o-scope”. Before staging a large military operation of any kind, you’d have to be extremely sure of success, and that simply isn’t the case with North Korea, China or Iran. Arguing that these nations not having their dictatorships overthrown proves the Americans wrong is like saying that since medicine can’t save every life, medicine is bunk.
Couple of Arab officials arrive in London and stay at Dorchester Hotel in Mayfair.
When they show up in the morning in the front door to go to Whitehall, the hotel doorman says: “Good Morning Sir”. One of the Arabs responds “Sir Morning Good”. The other Arab (who does not understand English) asks what the conversation was all about with the doorman.
“Oh nothing much”, his colleague responds, “The doorman said Salaam aleikum, and I responed Asalaamo Aleik”.
As for you Aldebaran who love to end your posts with Salaam, please note that in many non-Arab Muslim nations, Salaam means: God morning or Good Afternoon. In those non-Arab Muslim nations, you NEVER say Salaam when you mean to say Good bye, or God bless.
So, in spite of your Doctor’s degree in Islamic studies, you have a long way to go to learn how the Malaysians, the Pakistanis, the Indonesians, the Iranians say Good bye. They would NEVER say Salaam, when they say Good Bye.
OK? You just learnt some “truth” on a website.
