I just found this in the news: bomb cyclone incoming East Coast friends. Conditions start to worsen off of Florida on Wednesday, and move up the Coast, covering an area from Georgia to Maine. It’s being described as a Winter Hurricane. It might be a good time to read up on this, and stock up if needed. Take care everyone. 
We have supped on homemade chikin noodle soup and corn bread. Good on cold day. OYKW is preparin’ himself a bath. He does so lurve that whirlpool bath tub. I am chillin’. Life is good. BTW, he says thanks for the happy birthdays.

It was all of 6F when I took Nelson out this morning. It didn’t get above freezing the rest of the day. That and irk. C’est le damn guerre.
8 PM and I am already abed. We are trying to get the cat in before we retire for the night. She has learned to somehow peck on the bedroom window. She has also been earning her keep of late bringing us very big rats. She doesn’t eat them just brings them. The last couple were so big she had to leave them downstairs. Believe me there are still plenty of hurricane junk piles. The rats are in heaven. Good Kitty.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 27 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 45 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. There is some ick weather to the east of us, a wintry mix of snow and frozen rain/sleet. Seems to be in and around I75 but not headed any further inland so it’s all good here. OYKW goes back to irk this mornin’ poor thing. Today I shall go to the Pubic Sto’ as it is geezer discount day and stuff is needed. Laundry must also be done. Rah. Chikin ‘n dumplin’s shall be supped upon this evenin’ along with peas 'n carrots cause one must have one’s veggies. That should be enough to keep me occupied and outta trouble for the day.

I woke at 2 and couldn’t fall back to sleep - well, not till I was driving in. It’s gonna be a long day.
It was 7° when I let Higgs out. Snow is threatened overnight. We are not amused.
