About a third of the time, hubs passes out when he gets shots. This doesn’t stop him from being a heavily tattooed, bearded biker with gauged ears. I was with him for his booster (I always go with him if there’s a chance he’s going to get an injection, folks often freak when he passes out and he needs me there to keep things calm.) and out he went. As long as he’s sitting or laying down, its not a big deal.
He had to be fully vaccinated to go to school, so he survived it once. He joined the Marines and got every single childhood shot again and a lot of other stuff and survived. He got out of the Marines and stayed out long enough that he had to go through an abbreviated boot camp when he went back in, which included getting fully vaccinated yet again.
He’s a poster child for vaccinations don’t hurt anyone, fer crying out loud.
I’m saying all that to say that fear of needles is often just an excuse, and a pretty lame one in most cases.
I think that in many cases, the covidiots drank the koolaid early on and are just too stubborn to back down now.
