Could Hillary be too sick to run for/serve as president?

B

It’s not at all the same kind of thing from the Sanders camp. The Republicans attack Clinton for being too liberal. When Sanders criticizes her, it’s for being too conservative.

The Sanders camp is much larger than Sanders, and at times doesn’t even include him. He’s been an adult and so has she. The most ardent followers, not quite so much.

You didn’t, in the post which I quoted and in which I asked for an example, say that this is “kind of like” the stuff you get from the Sanders’ camp. You said, and I quote, that it was “exactly the same stuff”.

It’s not. And your attempt to impugn Sanders supporters, with a general reference to opprobrium issuing from the Sanders’ camp undermines your subsequent attempt to insist that we should do better.

And I continue to be unimpressed by claims that “camp” refers to every rando with an opinion, not someone officially connected to a specific campaign.

Like what? Do you feel the Bill Clinton really was running a cocaine ring while he was governor? Do you feel Hillary Clinton really did murder Vince Foster and Ron Brown?

Remember the Whitewater investigation? They spent four years and forty million tax dollars to investigate the Clintons’ real estate dealings. And at the end they found the Clintons hadn’t broken any laws.

Remember Travelgate? The Clintons were accused of doing something wrong with the White House travel Office. This was only two months into Clinton’s first term. Five years of investigation and the final conclusion was they hadn’t done anything wrong.

There’s a pattern here and it’s still going on. Accuse the Clintons of something and keep making accusations. Drag it out for years. No criminal charges will be filed but the public will become convinced they must be guilty of something.

I think this is all really a, uh, a false flag operation to cover the fact that she’s going to have to withdraw because the email scandal is about to uncover the REAL truth about Monica’s blowjob.

Also, Benghazi.

Hey, is Benghazi over?

I found Klein’s source. The National Enquirer.

You think I’m making that up, right? Wrong.

How Chronic Disease Could End Hillary Clinton’s White House Run

Wait! There are members of the Sanders campaign here? Have they identified themselves as such?

Camp, not campaign. The distinction is pretty important, as some of us have been trying to discuss.

Just like the Birther movement started in the Clinton camp but not the campaign.

No. I also interpret “camp” as a large unofficial group of supporters, unless it’s during the convention.

And, yeah, I’ve heard lots of Sanders supporters insist that Hilary had “too much baggage” to ever win - no real evidence of anything, but just that amorphous undefined “baggage”. But, no, I don’t have any cites, I’m talking about personal conversations.

(Frankly, if Brady really supports Trump, he should have come out for Hilary - she’d lose every state but Massachusetts.)

I am confused by these arguments. I thought when I posted this OP I was asking a serious question about a candidate. I didn’t think it would be any different than asking about the health issues of Trump, or Carson or Sanders or Biden. Yet many people here are equating this discussion to thinks like the Vince Foster conspiracy.

Granted, as I said in the OP, I do not know much about Klein who is making these accusations. However speculating that someone who is almost 70 (which could be any of the candidates, as many are close to 70) may be having health issues that makes it hard to engage in 16-18 hour work days for the next 9 years is not the same thing as saying the Clintons killed Vince Foster. If someone speculated Trump or Sanders had health issues (both are older than Clinton) I would not consider it controversial or a smear tactic.

Also Sanders is 75, he is 6 years older than Clinton. Biden is 74 so Clinton is the youngest mainstream democrat running. As I said earlier my main reason for starting this thread is it seems to me that there is suddenly this push out of nowhere to get Biden in the race and I didn’t know if that was because Clinton was having health issues that made her feel like she couldn’t fulfill the role as president.

It wasn’t going anywhere. So we moved on to e-mails.

The most obvious reason Biden is being pushed is to make a more interesting race and/or some people don’t like the heir apparent. To believe from some unknown source that Clinton has had “a series of strokes” is kind of ridiculous.

It’s worth exploring why such stories are so easily believed by some, isn’t it? And why they’re created, and by whom?

Yup, Just Asking Questions.

Like the story of LBJ having his operative just asking the question of if his opponent was fucking pigs.

You are way behind. The latest is that Bill isn’t Chelsea’s dad - it’s Webb Hubbell

That’s another old chestnut from the 90’s.

Might as well get out your copy of The Clinton Chronicles and get ready for all of it.

It would kind of fun to collect all of the various fan-fics into one cohesive narrative.

You’re not actually under the illusion that PUMA was composed of Clinton supporters, are you?
