I know you guys probably mean no harm, but just FYI, in the US calling a gay man “faggot” is as hurtful and ugly as calling a black man a “nigger” or a Jew a “kike.” Yes, Esprix shouldn’t have said that one man’s comment tars all straight men, but that is no excuse for using the most hateful epithet you can throw at a gay man.
“Faggot” is the word one hears when a beer bottle is thrown at one from a moving car; it’s the word you hear when you is hit on the back of the head with a chain as you come out of a gay bar.
