Cryptic or unusual fortune-cookie messages

I recently got one that says, “Wow! A secret message from your teeth!”

You ever get one that strikes you as a little odd?

My sister got one that said “You like Chinese food.”

I got one that said “It tastes sweet.” :dubious:

“Beauty and Wisdom are seldom found in the same person.”

Make up your mind. Am I ugly or stupid?

“That wasn’t chicken!”

No, I’m joking. I didn’t get that, but I did once get a fortune that said " You win!" and I said “what the…?”

As an aside, IRT there was an attempt by some marketing companies to insert corporate ads into fortune cookies. I believe there was ‘test marketing’ done in the Seattle area where people opened their cookies and found messages like “Drink Starbucks Coffee.” Apparently, people became livid and in some cases violent. (Folks take their fortune cookies seriously.) I don’t have a cite ready, am looking for one online. Anyone else ever hear about this?

At a New Years Eve party:

"Double your pleasure. Date twins."

“In next century, you may live on the moon.”

“We are both very happy together.”

“A nice cake is waiting for you.”

“It is sunny today.”

I love weird-ass fortunes.

“You will have a pleasant experience.”

I got a fortune cookie today that said:

“It’s about time I got out of that cookie.”

I recall one unusual one that was posted on a website:

Buy many dream boxes. Ask a friend to select one.

“Never smell the inside of a hat”

I keep it in my wallet.

I once got one that said “Your face is your fortune. God help you.”

Mean cookie.

I’ve got the same one. I keep it in my wallet.

“A happy man knows his wife is faithful. A wise man checks that his wife is faithful.” :dubious:

A few years back, I got:
“Smile if you like fortune cookie.”

More recently I opened up:
“You like Chinese food.”

Slight hijack: funny, just yesterday a friend told me the “in bed” rule of fortune cookies, which I somehow had never heard before. To wit: nearly every fortune sounds better if you add the words “in bed” at the end of the fortune.

Heh:

“You have a potential urge and the ability for accomplishment.”

What the hell does that even mean?

For years, until I lost it, I kept with me:

“Your many talents attract people. Be sure to use them.”

I’m sure “them” was meant to mean the talents, but I prefer the alternative reading, which effectively sums up my philosophy of life.

“A dream might come true.”

“You will soon be crossing the great waters”

I have no idea what that means…

if the ‘in bed’ rule still applies, it means its time to replace that water mattress…
