I was really surprised to see no thread yet, so I figured I’d start one.
I enjoyed this episode; it was nice to see the “lab rats” get good quality screen time, and Hodges even directly addressed Hal’s “Miniature Killer” theory.
I thought there was a little too much use of flashback, but beyond that I thought it was a good episode.
(I’m not saying much else because I know it hasn’t aired West Coast yet, I just mostly wanted to get the thread started.)
definitely a ‘clip’ ep, but i thoroughly enjoyed it.
i actually *like * hodges. the actor who portrays him does a very nice job of mixing the totally obnoxious with the amusing without going overboard and makes it work. that, and archie is just totally cute and got a little extra screen time.
gil almost looked impressed with hodges’ work. i figured my favorite lab rat was no dummy. that was pretty much borne out in the ep.
I was hoping for a little more closure on the mini-case. I feel the network is trying a little too much to milk it for the whole season. Then again, they are changing things up just enough to keep people [some people] away from Greys Anatomy.
Yeah, I enjoyed this one. I agree with LateComer about the Hodge’s Lucky Day montage. Really gave me a laugh.
A bit of a different perspective but not remotely beyond the shark. The original CSI still has it for me, unlike Miami and, based on the latest episode, NY.
Which makes me think, as the program Shark follows CSI, when Shark gets really bad, will it still be considered to have “jumped the shark”? Can you jump yourself?
I liked this episode. The season is drawing to a close, which can only mean omgseriousdrama probably, so a good, funny ep with something important in it too was a good choice, IMO. And everyone got a chance to catch up on the mini crime scene killer thing so it will be fresh if/when it pops up again.
I enjoyed that the writers found a way to make Hodges likeable, and yet still obnoxious. I was sorry Archie didn’t stick around for the whole thing, though. And if that wasn’t a setup for a barely-onscreen relationship between Wendy and Hodges, I don’t know what is.
No kidding. I was horrified for a minute, and then I remembered that most of the episode was more or less from Hodges’ point of view–of course Greg seemed snobby. Or maybe he was just actually snobby–but I refuse to think that about my Greg. You’d be snobby too, if you spent hours crawling in garbage and then got snubbed first by all the techs.
Doc Robbins and the rat may have been some of the best CSI time ever spent, though. Beautiful.
