Is Trump confused?

If it wasn’t actually confusion, my thought is the same as yours. For somebody who used the term “shit-hole country” in a speech, referring to taking a dump as “dealing with (the) Afghanistan” seems like about the sort of 8yo boy humor he seems to favor.
