As far as I know it isn’t possible to have two plates, that are only different because one has a zero and one the letter O because visually they are the the same. Unless there is a state that has a zero with a slash through it to differentiate the two.

I just checked and Arizona does distinguish between O and 0 and also that both COFFEE and C0FFEE were indeed taken.
Zero is an oval with a circular curve between the vertical straight elements and O has four 90-degree bends with a short straight element between, top and bottom.
Interesting, I wonder how many states distinguish the two. I guess these days, with automated plate readers, they can figure out what someone looking at it with the naked eye might not.

A Toyota Pruis: DHSIMX7. It was dark, I couldn’t read the license plate frame. Any guesses?
Some plates just have USLZNFO1 like NOIR2 on a black car.

Just as an aside on that DJTGOAT plate…The 11-99 Foundation is a charitable organization that provides assistance to California Highway Patrol employees and scholarships to their children. Maybe 40 years ago, some friends donated frequently and had those frames on their Porsches (yeah, they had his and hers 
). They believed the 11-99 frames would get them favorable treatment by the CHP. Perhaps, once upon a time. Rumor has it that the opposite is now the case.

The bougie grocery store is usually good for a custom plate or two in the parking lot. I go there because I like their granola and jam. And the parking lot didn’t disappoint.

Spotted on the freeway last night:
DAWGPAQ on a Honda Odyssey. “Dog pack”. Given that it was on a minivan, I wonder if their kids constitute their “pack”.
I’d sooner expect their collection of dogs constitutes their “kids”. Minivans are great dog-hauling machines.
