Today I saw a 4-door Jeep Wrangler with the full off-road / camper rig installed. Very nice, but suspiciously clean and unscratched.
Anyhow the plate read LOJHN. The driver was male and judging from his seating position and posture seemed unusually tall.
So “Long John”?
No photo, but I saw a plate this morning on a minivan which read NANA X 20. It was being driven by a elderly couple, so I’m guessing it belongs to the grandma of 20 grandkids.
Two that I saw today:
- A Jaguar convertible:
OBLIMEY
- and a grey convertible:
T - BOH
(I assume the driver’s name is Thibeault.)
On my walk today I saw an SUV with T T F N.
I don’t know how you guys can take pics while driving, I just don’t have those skills. In front of me at a light, some light blue sedan, didn’t catch what it was but had a plate, “passed u”. I only stayed behind them long enough to read the plate and then had to go around them because they were way too slow.
I catch mine at the next light. Not hard at all.
I use the iPhone’s burst shutter. I aim in the general direction and keep shooting bursts while focusing on driving. It is easy and not unsafe.
There’s enough icky goopy stuff that medical pro’s deal with that her choice of specialty plate is doubly appropriate. Very clever.
Speaking of “clever”, I’m getting a new car. It’ll be here in a few weeks. For which I’m going to spring for both a specialty background and personalized letters/numbers. Once I take a pic I’ll post it and see if anyone can solve the brainteaser. Might be easy, might be a crowd-stumper. We’ll see.
Just saw on a Porsche:
SLUMMIN
A few weeks ago I saw the perfect general purpose, transferable license plate (on the yellow lettering on black California plate): IMA CAR
A little earlier today, I saw this license plate:
PR YMRE (with the star)
It was on a late model Mercedes S550
I’m going to guess, based on the color, that “RMBLB” is short for “Rumble Bee.”
Also, I had to look up what that license plate type is: it’s a Wisconsin plate, commemorating the Road America motorsport racing course in Elkhart Lake. The odd shape on the left side of the plate is an outline of the race course.
Primer?
I’d guess “Pray More.”
PR_Y M_RE
Would you like to buy a couple vowels?
“I’m rich because I pray. You’re poor because you don’t pray enough.” (rolleyes)
Yup, at least that’s my assumption as well. I liked it.
Yeah…I finally looked that one up a while ago. To me it looks like the bicep invitation on It’s Always Sunny.
That was my thought as well. On a yellow car w black stripes it really sings.
And thanks for looking up that specialty plate background. I was baffled at what that outline was. It resembled Michigan just enough to leave me utterly confused.
In an even more evil interpretation, the owner is a megachurch or TV preacher. He’s (good bet it’s “he”) exhorting everyone around him to send more money to him.
In either case, F*** that noise.
