Custom Licence Plates — Seen in the Wild

I guess they’re a fan… of the city?

It appears they even left their heart there.

A Porsche Boxster with plates, BIKSTR.

It made sense from the back. It’s pretty clever.

SRN BELL on a Toyota something-or-other. Southern Belle? I’m nowhere near the south. Couldn’t see the driver.

On an Acura TL owned by a librarian: BK PUSHR.

And with the frame, LIBRARIANS ROCK; I’D RATHER BE READING.

And, on a beautiful blue Corvette C8: LURKZ.

That’s not a good car for lurking. Too conspicuous.

Saw both of these last weekend:

This one was from 2020:

A 2020 celebratory plate!

The only thing missing is a DePaul University sticker:
BLU DMN.

One of these belongs to my brother. The other does not.

JST WAIT, and DNT WAIT.

Me trying to work that out. J, S, Twa…that can’t be right.
(The license plate frame hides obscure the bottom of the I and, at a glance, it looks like a different word)

And then there’s UNCL BOB, and NANC NME.

I wonder if their other car is DUMBER?

Here’s one I saw a long time ago on a rather nice car

PROOF

Lawyer? Distillery owner? Proof that he made it when no one said he would?

INTHEOS — this Audi owner has faith.

Maybe. It being Silicon Valley maybe they work IN THE OS. IOW, a serious dev guru.

Saw on an Audi Q5 : TAXED1

Maybe they work for the IRS. And its one of two vehicles they own.

Oh yeah. Maybe. IN THE OS.

I knew a guy who used to work for them. His license plate was XIRS.
