Funny how you can go a few days and not see anything interesting then suddenly they’re everywhere.
Yesterday on a single 20 mile drive on freeways and suburban boulevards I reeled in five! At one point I had two in sight at once. To wit:
PSKETTI on a dirty 2010-ish family wagon.
MS⎵GREEN on a similar family wagon. I somehow suspect she’s an elementary teacher.
RUPHI2 on an SUV. They like date rape? That’s how they met their spouse who’s got RUPHI1? Maybe “Rufy” is toddler-speak for the woman’s name “Ruthie”? Color me undecided.
WFPBD on a Tesla. “PB” might be “Palm Beach” which is the name of our county. Other that that I got nuthin’ on this one,
CHLXN on a Lexus LC500 convertible. Chillaxin’ in style my man!
Today I ran across IAPRAYS on a generic sedan. Who might be in real estate, might be very proudly christian, or perhaps both.
I just saw a California plate that I have absolutely no idea regarding a meaning:
IGYWLB
Any ideas?
What make model and color of car? any distinguishing marks like license plate frames, bumper stickers, etc.
IGY could be “I got your”
IG could be instragram. I don’t have instagram, but I didn’t from what I can tell there isn’t anyone that goes by YWLB. Iggy can also refer to an Italian Greyhound. Maybe the owner has an Italian Greyhound With [LB].
Could also, as Google says, be an inside joke/reference.
On a pickup parked at the beach: GNGRSNP Sadly, the truck was black, not brown.
Also, LSLGuy, thanks for reporting PSKETTI. Really brightened my day. Perfect spelling for the universal toddler mispronunciation.
On an XC90: VOLVWHOA. I prefer my S60, in which i was, briefly, behind it.
I don’t see how the Audi I saw can drive to the AUDIBON. Though maybe there is such a place in US?

Perhaps they’re actually birdwatching nuts, not fast driving nuts?
After my haul 2 days ago the next day was boring. Best I could come up with over ~70 miles on the freeway and two big parking lots is RED⎵⎵LLC. Boooooring.
There is. I remember field trips to the Audubon center in Milwaukee. At this point, however, I have no memory of it other than the name.
WEBY1 on an Illinois Chicago White Sox plate in the parking garage this morning.
A new co-worker has SNP DOGG.
I saw HISYPHIT
Saw a clever one today that took me a short while to figure out - CNIKRT
I wonder if K8 is aware that she lives near an AFGN1 who just HIT␣55 and is a CAPS␣CHK. Yes, I saw all of those on the same 15 minute drive yesterday. The last one means they are a fan of Washington Capitals Hockey Team as indicated by the license plate holder that referenced them, and it was being driven by a woman.

Scored a couple yesterday but nothing very clever / interesting:
FAVOCH⎵2. Perhaps a first name in a language I don’t know?
TOM⎵PAC. Some guy named “Tom” whose last name starts “Pac…”?
ALLURE⎵1. This was a white Range Rover with black trim. And ref my other thread, had a fake rear plate that was all white with black letters to match the car. Very conservative tailored matchy-matchy look. I wasn’t able to see the driver but I expect a well-coiffed 40-something woman with impeccable posture, makeup, and teeth. And a Gucci-or-better bag.
I’m blocking. What is it?
I get “snicker”, but how does the T fit in? If it was CNIKRNT that’d be “sneakernet”, but absent an “N” I’m lost.
KRT could be “cart”, but that leaves “CNI” unexplained.
Scenic Route
D’oh! .
I just had an interesting sorta two-fer.
I’d previously reported seeing BGL⎵CTY on an F-type Jaguar parked in front of a deli/breakfast place named Bagel City. Evidently the owner’s car. Joint evidently does a nice business.
Today I parked in the same complex and was just climbing out of my car when a bright red Lexus LC500 rolls into the space to my right. I think that Lexus’s red is one of the best factory colors available today on any make of car at any price point. I’ve also been toying with the idea of getting an LC500 as my next car in late 2026.
I’m ogling the car when the driver jumps out. Guy about my age wearing a Bagel City polo shirt. I tell him I’m admiring his car and how does he like it? He says " I just got it last week. Traded it for a .." and I jump in with " …F-type Jag". “How did you know?” I recognize your BGL⎵CTY plate. He laughed. Anyhow we yakked for a few minutes about Jags, and BMWs, and Lexuses. He’s really stoked about this car. He also took time to note my custom plate for next time we meet.
Parked next to MOWIZL at the grocery store this morning. Not a clue what that is supposed to mean.
I regularly see a car with the license plate Mldylox. I can’t decide if the owner is a professional cleaner, or locksmith, or(hoefully not) a hair dresser.
Possibly that you need to make sure to buy cat food. It looks like something a cat would say.
