On the heels of Justice League , DCTV is having its own superhero team up in the form of the CW crossover special event. It’s going to happen over two nights on Nov 27-28. Note that, for the crossover only, Arrow will move from Thursday to Monday, airing right after Supergirl . This is going to be a true four-way crossover, fully integrating all the shows.
Crossover synopsis:
Barry (guest star Grant Gustin) and Iris’s (guest star Candice Patton) wedding brings the gang together, but things go awry when villains from Earth-X attack the ceremony. All of the superheroes band together with help from their super friends like Citizen Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller), The Ray (guest star Russell Tovey), Felicity Smoak (guest star Emily Bett Rickards), Iris West and Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) to take on their most formidable villains yet. Earth’s mightiest heroes – Green Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin) and White Canary (guest star Caity Lotz) – lead their teams into battle to save the world.
The description is the same for all four shows, just with the guest stars switched around. Earth-X, in the DCverse, is the parallel Earth where the Nazis won World War II.

Indeed. I’ve heard it described as a single two-part movie aired on consecutive nights.

Thanks for this thread, I have to remember to record Arrow. It is the only one of the 4 I don’t DVR.
I’ll have to remember not to switch channels, as I do watch Arrow on Thursdays, but I’m sure the CW will run plenty of reminders during Supergirl .

I was confused because I thought for sure it was this week (Arrow moving away from Thanksgiving made sense to me) so thanks for setting me straight.
I wonder if the shows go on enough if they will just comic book an excuse to make it all one Universe to make the crossovers easier.

I think Alex met Barry when he inadvertently jumped to Earth-38 during Supergirl -S1.
This is almost certainly a given.

I don’t think I’d realized the guy playing Mister Terrific is so tall.
They didn’t meet in that episode because Alex wasn’t there. (Neither was J’onn.) Barry says, “You have a sister? Where’s she at?”
Oh, is that when Alex and J’onn went on the run for some reason? I’m beginning to remember now. Lucy Lane was left in charge of the DEO.

Arrow will be on tonight. They’re not skipping it because of Thanksgiving. Then the crossover episode will air Monday after Supergirl.
