I suspect not, unless I want to spend my 6th level bard ability on them, or take 4 more levels of Wizard.
I’ve finished the background and the skeleton, onto which I now need to hang spell selection and work out all the crunchy bits - attack rolls, saving throws etc.
I tried PMing you with the background, but when I opened the form my screen got covered in black and I couldn’t post the draft. Shall I put it in here or email it to you so you can do a private review?
I’ll be afk for an hour or so dealing with chores.
Would you like to be a child of Pippin? It is FA 65 and his eldest was born in FA 10. You could be born any time from FA 12 to 30. (Age 35 to 53)
Another good line would be a grandson of Ferdinand Took, son of Sigismond Took son of Hildibrand Took son of Gerontius Took himself. (The Old Took)
If you go this way, we’ll come up with your family.
That is a very thorough background. I think you went down 1 generation too many.
Great grandchild seems more in line. If you were born right before the end of the 3rd age, you’re probably the same generation as Pippin, just on the younger side of it.
Good question. What were you looking at for weapons & armor?
There will be one item of Very rare quality, a rare and 2 uncommon most likely. Maybe a trinket or 2. We’ll have to figure that out. Maybe a bardic instrument even, but I’m not sure yet.
Armour: a breastplate. ½ plate offers better protection, and I’d take that if available.
Weapon: Rapier or Shortsword. A longsword might be a little big for him A rapier for preference since it’s a finesse weapon.Missile weapon; a sling.
An entertainer’s kit.
A mandolin of good quality and a carrycase, a set of pan pipes. He’s also skilled with the tomtom.
I wish to confess that not only did I misspell Meriadoc, but that I had lost track of time and almost had Ghan say that he’d heard Merry was buried in Gondor!
Mirëgol will need a couple of days to determine how to repair the Elf Stone. She will also need to consult with the party. Gilraen, Bitur, probably Ghan and she calls in Felareth the Bard and of course Hejren the archaeologist.
Galvorn was a metal devised by Eöl from which he made resistant armor. Black and “shining like jet”, it was hard as steel, but supple and malleable, proving resistant to all blades and darts
Etymology The word galvorn translates as “shining black” in Sindarin. It is formed by combining gal , which means “shine” and morn , signifying “dark” or “black”.
