True story: my parents really, really wanted grandkids, but with no luck: neither of my brothers nor I had any, and we were getting on (I was the youngest, at 38). My wife and I were trying for kids, but did not tell them, so as to not get their hopes up.
Little did I know that my oldest brother was doing the same …
So, we get the news, and it was three months on, so we decided to call my mom and give her the announcement. Turned out my brother and his wife had called my mom that same day with the same announcement! The two cousins were born two weeks apart. 
My mom thought we were pranking her at first!
