I feel so dirty.
I read this whole thread for probably much the same reason that ancient Romans went to see the Gladiators fight. Nasty, girls, really really nasty.

Jebus Felching Chrisco on a Pogo Stick!
I feel like I’m on a merry go round! We’re going round and round but we’re not going anywhere.
I think both of you should appologize. You’re both coming off as mean spirited, vain catty bitches!
If either one of you surprises me and does something classy, like say, appologize to the other, I’ll eat my underwear!
No fair if you normally wear eatable underwear.

It has been my observation that there no wedding goes off perfectly.
There are too many things that can go wrong on that “Special Day”.
Crazy uncle Jack shows up drunk, and pukes on the Bride as she walks down the aisle.
The photographer has car trouble and shows up late.
A cousins date is a vegan and objects to the slaughtered animals on the menu.
The caterer gets served papers about being sued by his last wedding debacle, where everybody came down with food poisoning.
Your cute 5 year old niece/nephew serving as the flower girl/ring bearer, wets her/himself during the ceremony.
The best man gets caught in the limo with one of the servers, while she is servicing him.
No, no wedding is perfect, the planning may well be, but the actual wedding never goes off as planned.
You, Daffodil, are an anal retentive bitch. And shove your plastic fairytale wedding up your ass.
As for the legal issues, there’s a little something called STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS in most states. After a certain amount of time has passed, a non-capitol crime can no longer be prosecuted.
For example, during a bitter divorce my mother tried to accuse my father of statutory rape. She would have had a good case since she ran away from home and moved in with when she was 16 (he was 20) and the Age of Consent was 18. But since all of it happened about 14 years prior, the time limit to prosecute it was over.
That doesn’t mean that it never happened.

Jesus Christ. I can’t believe I read the whole thing.
You’ve both made your positions perfectly clear. You’ve both made clear that you are not willing to search for a middle ground. You’ve both made clear that you think the other is a waste of space. And it’s clear to ALL of us that none of this is going to change a bit. This isn’t going anywhere good or productive or cathartic or anywhere but in circles. Anything more you say will just be repetition.
Both of you. Please. Just shut up and let it die.
Legally, no it didn’t.
But even if it did: Laws aren’t morals.
Morally, that girl may have been taking advantage of that guy. Perhaps the law would say otherwise, but I disagree with laws such as those that presume the male to be the Evil Aggresor that must be punished with a felony conviction, whereas the female is the Innocent Victim™.
Daffodil style “it’s the LAW” type speeches strike a nerve with me.
