You’ll have to count me out for the 26th as well. BBQ Cookoff’s that weekend and I’m helping out at the gates. Nothing like free beer and barbeque to get me to volunteer for something. 
I’ll definetly be there on the 12th, though.

Nice try Zyada. You have to understand that working the Cookoff is not really working. It involves a lot of sitting around getting drunk. However, for beer and BBQ, I will supervise the painting of your bathroom and insure that it’s done correctly.
Also, I prefer BBQ that originates in the back yard. I’m a firm believer that you can’t have great barbeque and health codes together. As for beer, I’m partial to Shiner. So let me know if a supervisor position opens up and I’ll be right over.

You know, I’m sorely tempted. But I’s got commitments on Friday night, plus there’s the work thing I can’t figure out how to get out of. 12th is Saturday? But I sure hate the idea of driving there Sat and back Sun. sigh

Hootee is my fromer co-worker. She attended one of the gatherings with me. We came from a wedding and she was wearing a low cut dress. At one point she leaned across the table and Chef Troy almost lost an eye.
What do you mean? I almost lost BOTH eyes. They bugged out Tex Avery-style and almost fell in the salsa. Luckily they fell into Hootee’s cleavage and rolled along the center line like the ball bearings in that luxury-car commercial. When I reached in there to retrieve them, I got nabbed by a mousetrap and almost lost a finger… should have known she was booby-trapped.
