Seriously Walmart. They were the best damn potato chips I’ve eaten since I discovered Pringles. Steak and Worcestershire chips? Barbecue chips that actually taste like barbecue? Damnation, you get me addicted and then you take away my fix? I’m freaking jonesing here! Darn you Walmart! Bring back Herr’s chips! Herr’s website doesn’t list vendors…
I’ve seen them at Walgreens recently, but nowhere else around Florida. Albertson’s had them for a brief time, and then stopped carrying them.
Walgreen’s, you say? I shall drop by and have a look-see. Mayhaps I’ll get lucky.
Is Herr’s national? They were ubiquitous - almost as plentiful as Frito-Lay - in the NE, but I haven’t seen them in the west, other than in episodes of The Office
Joe
You can buy them by the case on their website. 12 5-oz bags for $20 plus UPS. I mean if you’re really desperate.
Make Herr’s yours!
They have an online store. Does that help the craving?
They don’t by chance produce a line of pies do they?
Pennsylvania is truly the snack food capital of the country, isn’t it?
Hallelujah! Herr’s ketchup flavored chips are my heroin, and I haven’t been able to find them in at least a couple of years. Now I can get 12 bags at a time!
Being thin is overrated anyway…
I just tried them over the weekend - unlike you I’m not addicted. They weren’t bad, but I only thought they were OK
Oh man… Herr’s chips! I went to high school near their factory in PA. I just went to their website to order a few bags. Can’t wait!
Was it Herr’s that carried the sausage-pizza-flavored chips? Those were excellent!
Those are the best chips ever. Their Salt and Pepper and the Steak and Worcestershire are fantastic as well.
You rat bastards better be right about these. I just ordered 2 cases of mixed bags!
Oh, well. Anything I don’t like, the kids will eat.
Their salt and pepper are to die for, but I was underwhelmed by their salt and vinegar. Almost no vinegar, IMO.
You. Will. Love. Them.
There’s a phone number–1-800- WALMART.
It’s the customer hotline. Trust me that if you want the chips badly enough they will be carried.
Huh, my wife gets her Herrs chips from Walmart here.
As far as Pennsylvania chips go, Herrs are good but I prefer Snyders of Berlin, but to each his own.
You cannot walk into a any store that sells any type of food in these parts and not see Herr’s chips. When I get a craving, I’ll have a big bag of Honey Barbecue for lunch.
Oh very much with the yes.
