With the holiday last week, work was crazy. (Plus, I haven’t been reading the board and forgot about it.) But, I’ll mark June 8 on my calendar now. See you guys next week.
Yes, according to my calendar it is time for the bi-weekly meeting of the DC Lunch Bunch promptly beginning at noon at the White House exit of the McPherson Square Metro Station.

Actually, we (Olentzero and I) unilaterally decided that the next, and possibly, all future, meetings of the DC Lunch Bunch will be at the other McPhereson Square station entrance, at 14th and Eye Streets, NW. This was done to make it more convenient for you and I to walk there from our work. Also, we usually go to either Au Bon Pain or Wall Street Deli that’s closer to that entrance.
So, take note, folks. 12.00 noon on Friday at the 14th Street exit of the McPhereson Square Metro Station, not the White House exit.

What, Geobabe, you had previous lunch plans?!?! I’m almost insulted.
Anyway, I’m really going to try to make it, but we’re starting our move today, so I don’t know how much I’ll be participating in that (probably a lot), so if I’m not there by 12.10, don’t wait for me.
First, no we aren’t significant any more but still on good terms. The reason he hasn’t been around much is that he is working as the security officer on a new computer system the government is trying to get up and running by Sept. That keeps him in meetings a lot of the time (since he used to do most of his SD posting at work). And when he is at home, he spends a lot of time playing Everquest. But I think he was on recently because he made a comment last night about one of his old threads being brought back up and then closed by the mods. I’ll tell him you asked about him.
As for lunch, I’m there. Noon at the 14th St. exit of the McPherson Square Metro station. See you all there.
