I should be, too. However, I’m ducking out early that afternoon to get ready to pick up Anniz on Saturday (finally!), so I might have to cut out early, again.

I work just 2 blocks away from McPherson Square, but I’ll be going up North for Labour Day Week-End.
However, I would be greatly interested in any other times you folks get together. From reading the thread, it looks as though it’s every other Friday.
Would anyone have any objections to a newbie, both locally and to the boards, dropping by?
No, of course not! Just watch this thread for when we meet, but it’s usually every other Friday, at noon, outside the 14th street exit of McPhereson Square.
Seconded on the newbie and the long-awaited return of the only international component.

Hey guys, I’m going to have to skip today. I hurt my neck this week, and made it worse bowling last night. This morning walking has been a challenge, and I don’t want to risk anything before driving to New Jersey tomorrow.

No way! Lunch Bunch is too fun. Don’t lose heart, Mark - we’re not skipping because we hate it.
I’m planning on taking the day off from work on the 14th anyway to go to the Small Press Expo in Bethesda so I’ll make a point of joining the Lunch Bunch and bolting up to SPX from there.
Besides, it’s going to get a lot more exciting when Anniz rejoins the fray.

Hey folks, Lunch Bunch should be this Friday (14th)? Are we still going to get together at noon at the 14th Street exit of the McPherson Metro Station? Anniz? Montfort? Sqrlcub? Olentzer? RTFirefly? Anyone else in the area? Please post so we know if it is on.
I should be there, and Anniz is mulling it over. We’ll decide in the morning (I have to see how work will be; it’s been really busy this week)
