I think the question you’ve got to ask yourself, is why you’ve been avoiding us, hmmm? When and the where: McPherson Square Metro, 14th St. exit at 12 on Friday. You can’t miss us. We’ll all be wearing shirts…

Demographics, hm. Well, until recently, there was myself, dcnewsman, SqrlCub, Olentzero, Montfort, Anniz, Cliffy, and my wife. Montfort and Anniz have moved to Sweden, my wife’s in Seattle, and I guess Cliffy’s too busy being an up ‘n’ coming lawyer. So lately we’ve been down to four of us. We need new blood!

Tris, we usually go to the Au Bon Pain right across the street. Normally, if someone’s late, we make sure we go there so they know where to find us.

Ok, well, assuming that Ye Old Publick Transporte System performs within an hour of expectations, I will stroll in about fifteen minutes late, or so.

I’ll be there. Ginger, if you are looking for public transportation to lunch, take the MARC train from where ever you get it up there (I think there is a station near Aberdeen) and take it to Union Station. At Union Station, get on the Red Line (toward Shady Grove) and go to Metro Center (not Centre, you’re down south now) then transfer to the blue or orange lines (Franconia/Springfield side) and go one stop. We’ll be outside of the 14th Street exit.

On a side note, I’ll be in Calgary again next month. Guess you don’t want to come down again and show me some more of the city’s pubs.

Oh (and this is very, very important!!) BRING COFFEE CRISPS to lunch.

Okay, time to start a new thread. I clicked on page 5 (latest page noticeable from the forum list), got posts from last year. So I click on latest thread now availiable (p 7) still getting posts that aren’t up to date. Finally click on p 8… And, yeah I know that I coulda just clicked on the latest available post or last thread but that’s too much work. Or am I just bitching?

Assuming I can wake up in time (night person here) I’ll be more than happy to come on down and meet ol’ Ginger and whichever other dopers are there that I haven’t met before. Those of you that I have met before I will ignore.

I know Aguecheek and myself are off on Friday (actually Wed. is his LAST day of work here) and others will be out of town for the Independence Day holiday. So what do you way about moving lunch up this week and sending Aguecheek off to Seattle with a goodbye Lunch Bunch?
