Time and day?
Well, with the considerably thinned-out crowd we got, once a month might not be so bad. However, I have it on good authority that tramp and Neurotik work less than a block from where I do, so if maybe they read this thread they can come too.

I agree. Now that most of my initial deer-in-the-headlights shock of being in a furrin kuntree is gone, I would like to get to know the locals a little better.
Well, I’m back from a trip to Calgary so if anyone is interested in starting back up again, I’d be up for it. Maybe if every other week doesn’t work, we could do it once a month as suggested or maybe meet once a month for dinner if that would be better for more people. If you are interested post or give alternative ideas.
I’m up for occasional appearances at either. Of course, dinner means going to DC in the dark. I’d have to get MUCH more comfortable with the city before I came out on my own.
DC, you’re supposed to TELL me before you go home, Mom & Dad would have fed you and feted you. And sent me presents.
Now that I have changed jobs, so that I work at N and Connecticut (right off Dupont Circle), I can come to the Lunch Bunch. Just let me know where and when.

Ginger, if you would be coming into DC by yourself and don’t want to, I’d be happy to accompany you - I’m probably about halfway between you and DC proper.

Lemme talk to the little man and see what we can come up with. If he’s working, I’m on my own and will have to take the Marc; if he’s got a late appointment, I can’t be there because I have to be home for bug-face to get off of the schoolbus.

Might be. I think this is the fifth time in my SDMB life that I’ve ever ventured into MPSIMS…and look at what I come across! Very auspicious occassion - I’ve been called out by name.
Anyway…I didn’t read through the whole thread, just the first and last pages. I think next week might be my last week at this utterly fantastic, wonderful, job (not sarcasm, I genuinely love this place and I have to leave soon 
). So unfortunately, I may not be around for the other lunch bunches. But we’ll see. Someone needs to remind me though, because I never remember these things.
