During RTFirefly’s Halloween party, 4 of the 5 founders who where there decided that the lunch bunch would meet at noon weekly. Those who can attend are welcome, those who can’t can come some other time.
So, let’s meet at noon on Friday, Nov. 3 at the Vermont Ave./White House exit of the McPherson Square Metro station. We’ll decide where to go for lunch from there.
No sooner did I post in another thread that I would be able to make it that I found out that I won’t be downtown on 3 November.
So, it looks like I won’t be at this week’s Lunch Bunch. 
Of course, my schedule is bound to change six more times this week…
I dunno, man. I was at the burrito stand today and I got held up. Maybe we should go somewhere else this Friday for lunch? 
Held up, as in mugged? Or as in delayed?

LOL…He was held up in broad daylight and no one else behind him in line even helped. Of course, it was only my finger in his back. The moral of the story: Always be aware of who’s behind you and don’t sniff freon.
Isn’t it dangerous to hold someone up from behind at a burrito stand? If he’s going for seconds, he may have you outgunned…biowarfare…that ain’t freon you’re sniffing…
You know, those things are vegetarian - I’ve never gotten the biowarfare effect off of them. And I like to eat 'em spicy, too.
I think SqrlCub should have a button that says “Suck Freon Now - Ask Me How!”
Darn it! When I opened the thread I thought lunch would be this Friday (11.3)! Last week I had my mom in town and didn’t get anywhere near a computer! I don’t normally work on Fridays so I would have been able to come.
Hopefully you all will do this again and I will be there. I really want to meet some of you. It sounds like all of these get togethers have been a blast. Oh well, next time.

I’m at my company’s HQ down in Dale City, VA and we’re starting to think about ordering in some lunch. All six employees of my company are here, so by definition it’s a company lunch, paid by the company.
Anyway, I wasn’t in DC today, so what’d I miss?
Just Sqrl, Olentzero and myself showed up today. Phil, Blue Monchichi, and Anniz didn’t show up or let us know.
We ate vegeterian burritos from the burrito cart on Layfayette Square. The strippers were a no-show too so we just payed a few of the homeless guys 5 bucks to strip for Olentzero’s birthday and give him a lap dance. He go so excited, he decided he had to leave work at 3:30.

Friday’s a federal holiday, FYI, which means that I technically have the day off. Whether or not I’m working then, of course, is a different matter (the client I’m on assignment at is open on Friday).
If I’m not working, I’ll be heading up to Philly for the weekend. If I am, I’ll be at the Lunch Bunch.
Oh gack! I totally forgot us gov’t grunts had Friday off. Well, unless you guys wanna meet the Tzeroling, I’m gonna have to back out. I’ll be there the 17th, though!
