And, I probably won’t be there on the 17th. It’s not a Federal holiday, but it’s a Montfort holiday: I’m getting on a plane that evening, and I’ll probably leave work early to finish packing.

What has happened to the DC Lunch Bunch? I know last week, most of you were off because of the holiday, but no one except Sqrl and me showed up today either. I believe Montfort was off, packing lots of clothes to take with him so he and Anniz could “change” often. But what about the rest of you…Pldennison? Olentzero? Any one still interested in Friday lunches?
And, I should be able to make it to the DC Lunch Bunch this week. Unless work drags me up to New Jersey for the weekend (ugh).

I don’t remember where I ended up on the 17th. It may have slipped my mind or I didn’t think anything was on. I can make up for it on the 1st, though - who’s up? Besides, if Montfort can go, I wanna see all the pix.
My pictures are currently being developed at the Ritz Camera on Connecticut and L Street, NW. I’ll be picking them up when I leave work in an hour.
And, they’ll be at the DC Lunch Bunch on Friday.
As well as Falcon’s party the following weekend.

Damn! Of course the one day when I can’t make it, you are all coming. I have a luncheon for work but Sqrl will be there. Have fun.
Yes, this is the post where I could spill the beans about what Anniz is getting for Christmas.
But I won’t. Despite all appearances I’m too nice a guy to do something like that.
I am not, however, above making sure this post pops up with a little red flag and attracts Anniz’ attention just for the heck of it. 
As for the lunch - it was pretty decent - we invaded a restaurant with food bought elsewhere and angered the management. We don’t care, we’re wild and young and we can quote whole Monty Python skits from memory. (Ni! Ni! Hee hee hee hee…)
We saw plenty of good photos from Montfort’s trip to Sweden and laid plans for Anniz’s sojourn here on American shores. it was also suggested that the Fried Chicken Head from Oregon be elected President and solve this crisis once and for all.
Then RTF and PLD and Montfort started talking football fantasy leagues so SqrlCub went off to his own happy little “Good Ship Lollipop” world for a while. 1:00 rolled around so we all reluctantly headed back to our points of origin. We eagerly await the next installment of “DC Lunch Bunch”, whenever it may be!
