We sat out front for a bit but I couldn’t take it too long as the neighbor’s porch (not the one I share, the other house) reeks of cigarette smoke. Wasn’t long before my nose was getting stuffy.
I don’t know how an open porch can smell so bad, you’d think all the windy days would have blown the stench away.
Then we went out back and I got Ripple to chase the squirrels. I know I’ll never get rid of the little bastards, but they don’t have to be comfortable hanging around my house.
The cat is always so happy when I sit out outside, he likes when we hang out together.
I didn’t stay out long though, too chilly in the shade.
All y’all busy people make me feel tired and lazy.
Mooooom, I bought my current desktop off CL as a refurb unit. The guy buys them from the gaming design department, refurbs them (and he prefers Windows 7) and sells them. Mine cost $75 and included the mouse, keyboard and monitor. Shoot, he even threw in a stack of classic movies on DVD with it. That works for me.
I got the Sunday chores done and took Nelson to the dog park. Supper was poke chops with onions and apples, sweet potato noodles and a nice green salad with tangerines and sunflower seeds and homemade balsamic vinegraitte. Burp!
Howdy Y’all! Home from Evensong over to the church house. ‘Twas a nice service and a nice reception after. “The Shamrocks” a barbershop quartet entertained at the reception and did a fantastic job. Even had us all singin’ along to Under The Boardwalk and Georgia On My Mind. They did some good Irish songs as well. Tomorrow night is men’s night over to the church house. Thus, steaks are marinatin’ and beer is chillin’. Takes care of tomorrow’s sup.
We shall soon retire to the boudoir to watch teevee until sleepy time.
I feed the shellies baby brine shrimp when there are babies. They live in snail shells.
One of the large (2" ha!) males attacks the pipette of BBS when he is fed in his shell.
He bravely attacks the pipette when I feed his two neighbors shells.
Then the son of a bitch eats his neighbors dinner!
Dinner was the planned corned beef and cabbage. Afterwards the crockpot was down enough to add more cabbage. This leaves plenty of that and tacos for leftovers for my before-work dinners this week.
You do not want to be the person unloading trucks with me this week should I be assigned to inbound.
