Dear Netflix: It is Christmas and you have no Holiday movies?

In my Netflix que, all on wait as of today are:

Charlie Brown Thanksgiving
Charlie Brown Christmas
Christmas Story
Christmas Vacation
Dr Suess Grinch Stole Christmas (Animated one)
The Grinch (Jim Carrey)
Christmas with the Simpsons
Bad Santa
Miracle on 34th St (1947)
The Santa Clause
Santa Claus is coming to town
Year without a Santa Claus
Rudolph the Red Nosed Raindeer
It’s a Wonderful Life
Frosty’s Winter Wonderland
The Night Before Christmas
The Santa Clause 2
Saturday Night Live Christmas
Christmas in Connecticut
White Christmas
Home Alone

The only thing I was able to get was the 1984 and the 1938 versions of A Christmas Carol. I also have some music DVDs available of the Messiah and The Nutcracker.

Still, this isn’t acceptable. During Halloween, most horror movies were available. Every now and then, one of them would go on short list. Still, most of those movies listed above are major Christmas classics. I am hoping that this will change very soon.

Nitpick: it’s queue. “Que” is pronounced “Kay” or “Kuh” depending on whether you’re Spanish or French.

Other people want them, too, I guess. I’m guessing these are popular with kids as well, and kids like to watch things over and over. Popularity+repetition=people keeping DVDs out for a long time which = long wait.

I’d understand that for some of the animated specials.

But, Bad Santa?* It’s a Wonderful Life*? I’m really hoping Netflix will add more copies of most of their Christmas movies.
