Dearly Departed Dopers

Of those who haven’t been mentioned: Torgo.

Heya!

After the Winter of Our Lost Content, I sorta drifted away and took up residence on LJ. I still read the Boards from time to time though!

What you said.

Who do I miss? Dinsdale and Milossarian.

Is that the guy with the Yugo?

:smack: <–Click here

He also plays the Bongos In the Congos.

HAMzilla

Please elaborate for the curious. How?

Funny how some people just want to know all and control everything, innit?

Crap! Accidentally pasted an old clipboard post.

Although the spelling of my name didn’t change, I renounced my French citizenship and recently became Swiss, so the pronunciation changed from fet-WAH to fet-oo-ZHAY.

I’ve never heard of this poster and a search turns up nothing. Can someone tell me about him/her, please? I think I may know this person because I was involved in an inside joke where a surname was mutilated to Dinsdale a few years back.

Does Fenris still post here? It seems like forever since I last saw a post from him. The first thread I read here was one of his and I’ve been hooked ever since.

Not sure if you realize this, but it’s actually very easy to find out when someone last posted.

Go to the search screen, type in their username, and search for all posts. The first post in the list will be their most recent post.

Fenris made his most recent contribution four days ago, on April 2.

Anthracite. Was there some sort of name change I missed? It seems there is precious little fossil fuel in the Dope’s history…

Anthracite is now Una Persson.

I don’t recall that Dinsdale changed his name; I believe he left in the pay-to-post conversion. I always used to admire his parenting skills. To hear him tell it, he had a batch of great kids.

I miss Updike. A real classy guy, always brought reason and civility to any thread he graced.
What?

More likely it’s a Monty Python reference.

He was a gentleman, Dinsdale, and what’s more he knew how to treat a female impersonator.

SwimmingRiddles.

And I miss the days of Three Minute Mysteries, too. :frowning:

I miss jodi, SofaKing & Dinsdale I was gonna say also CrankyAsAnOldMan, but she’s not gone (just doesn’t post where I read, I guess).

I’m here but not nearly as much. You can find me writing Staff Reports and responding to queries on those more than posting I think.

Sue Duhnym.
