Only the good die young?

I did not have sexual relations with that woman

Something about Think before you speak? or the wise person thinks before he speaks?

Sorry Kaz, that seems like it, but actually it’s far from it. What does entendement mean, anyway?

Everything we live decadent in a submarine

[Eng - Ger - Eng - Chi - Eng - Por - Ita - Eng]

It’s still too easy, I think.

It goes in the ampere of 11.

Eng - Kor - Eng - Ger - Fra - Eng - Spa - Eng
'Twas once in my sig.

Is that “great minds think alike” Speaker?

Jack Batty, thank you for the SD page translation. It all makes so much more sense to me now, especially:

AETBOND417, re

= we all live in a yellow submarine?

OK, guys, try this one, from English - Chinese - English:

What light listens to, breaks by way of the yonder window?

“What light through yonder window breaks?”
–Romeo and Juliet, Act 2, Scene ii

If this isn’t right, it’s a pretty eerie coincidence.

donkeyoatey, you’re the winner! It is ‘great minds think alike’.

Ahh well. About entendement, if I remember my French correctly, then the verb entendre means “to hear.” Also, this I know for sure (hopefully?), the suffix “-ment” is the same as the suffix “-ly” in English, meaning that this word is an adverb. So, if I am correct (which it sure as hell seems like I’m not, and I have my doubts…) then this is the adverb “hearingly,” as in “How was he running?” “He was running hearingly.” Pretty crazy if ya ask me. I’m waiting to be corrected here, however.

uhh…

You got it, Kaz.

I kind of got a kick out of that too, but I was rather fond of

I can just imagine …

Wheee-doggy, pardner. I can’t rightly say that your words ain’t done got me in a right dither. I think I’m a-gonna have to take you on down to the ol’ BBQ hollow and give you what-fer. Y’all come back now, y’hear?

You’re playing at ten, all the way up, all the way up, then when you need that extra push over the cliff…what do you do?

eleven?

Exactly.

why not make ten a little bit louder, and let ten be the top number and make that a little bit louder?

<silence>
**These go to eleven.

Oh, I’m assuming the typed in pre-translation quote was “this amplifier goes to eleven”

I believe it was “These amps go to eleven”. Congrats Joe Cool. Also, the “We all live in a yellow submarine” post was correct.
