I guess I was wrong, Miguel is going to get whacked somehow by Dexter . I guess it’s still possible he gets killed by someone else like his wife.
We know Dexter is going to live, I wonder if his sister or Quinn somehow saves him? That’s logical to me. It was funny that they talked about next season at the end in case there were any doubts Dexter survives the skinner.
I think the current Miguel killing candidates are (in order of liklihood)
I still wonder what they are going to do with the Quinn/Internal Affairs subplot- kinda hope he is not a bad cop, just one that bends the rules but since he may have outrightly lied about the reason the IA cop wanted to get him, I still wonder. Cute scene with Vince and “Tammy”.
It seems that LaGuerta is on to the fact that Miguel killed Ellen Wolf, or at least she strongly suspects it. My guess is that they will see his SUV on a camera at the cemetary so that will be the end of Miguel one way or another. He could get locked up for murder or maybe kill himself.
Miguel’s phone call to The Skinner made me go :eek: Nice twist. I don’t think anyone saw that coming.
It looks like Anton and Deb are over. His reaction to Deb fudging about why he wasn’t registered as a CI was a bit over the top. Being tortured by The Skinner – now that’s a reason to be pissed at Deb and Quinn.
Ya know what? I shouldn’t have been surprised at Miguel and The Skinner. In last week’s episode, LaGuerta asked Miguel to use his authority to help them keep The Skinner in custody. Miguel was surprisingly ineffectual with that. That should have been a clue.
Well, they did kill off his brother in Six Feet Under (the main character) with a season left to go.
So, he was on his phone when he was grabbed. ISTM that if he still has it, all he has to do is call 911 and let them track his phone.
But everybody hated Nate by then anyway. “Arm!”
I replayed the scene where The Skinner takes Dexter, and it looked like he grabbed Dex’s phone.
I’m so glad the writers didn’t put Rita in jeopardy again. When Miguel talked about not messing with family, I was worried that’s where they were going.
If Miguel is arrested he will try to implicate Dexter so that will be an interesting twist for Dexter to deal with. To me that means it’s more likely he ends up dead one way or another
you guys don’t realize Dexter most likely was snatched up for his bachelor party. the writers like to misdirect on this show…
They did have him in the back of a very nice car… so that would be possible as well.
No doubt (in my mind anyway) - he’ll come out of the trunk swinging.
The bachelor party would be a funny twist. BTW, I thought it was dumb that he had his name on his parking space - what apartment complex does that for a parking spot? Maybe a condo would do that but not an apartment.
That would be truly awesome.

They made it very obvious last week in two scenes. When the Skinner was questioning Anton, the Skinner was cleaning his knife while Anton talked off-camera. They did the same scene a bit later with Miguel, after he stabbed his chicken at lunch, while Dexter was talking. That pretty much confirmed to me they were foreshadowing some cahoots of some sort.
It looked though like Dexter was being injected with something though. Although, now that someone mentioned the bachelor party, I can breathe a little tiny bit easier (yes, yes- no Dexter series without Dexter surviving…)
It’s a funny idea, but the scenes from next week’s show lead me to believe otherwise.
FYI Showtime has ordered 2 more seasons of Dexter. My guess is that is all they will do. After 5 years the writing normally goes downhill on a lot of shows so it’s a nice to stop while it’s still good.
I thought it was a stun gun or something. In either case, doesn’t seem like standard operating procedure for a faux abduction.
I know it is only entertainment, but how easy would it be to do that move with the cuffs at the end? I was really disappointed in how easily Dexter got took down, he should have at least needed a blow to the head.
They did Taser him first.
