I’m getting really fed up with Deb’s shenanigans. She is quite possibly the dumbest cop to ever be on television.
The second she tried to fake-out Mr. Tree Trimmer with “your buddy’s in the other room spilling his guts!” it was obvious that that guy was a goner.
I am looking forward to the coming Dexter/Miguel confrontation, though. Whatever happened to The Smittser’s angry brother who was always nosing around?
Good question about “Where is Ramon?” How many episodes are left anyways?
3 episodes left. It would SEEM that Dex has to “take care of” Miguel now, but how to do that and also resolve the Skinner case? Unless Dex has nothing to do with that and Deb makes the bust on her own. Seems like a lot to resolve even in three hours, but I haven’t been disappointed so far.
I think it’s too predictable for Dexter to kill Miguel. He could kill him a very unusal way or maybe Miguel is killed by his wife. Or maybe he just moves to LA.
I think Dexter has evidence that ties Miguel to Ellen Wolf’s body so that is what he can use to keep Miguel under control.
I don’t think Dexter’s gonna do Miguel in either. I think he’s going to sit back and watch him implode and self-destruct. He’s a ticking timebomb and pretty careless. I also think Miguel’s a whole lot scarier than Dexter too. He doesn’t have a Code.
Anyone else think that Miguel already knows Dexter killed his brother at Freebo’s house?
I got a kick out of seeing Dexter cruising the graveyard–back in Six Feet Under territory!
Yah. Just once, I think it would be neat for Dexter to make a friend he doesn’t kill.
But on TV, that tactic usually works.
One thing that bugs me about Deb is that she never calls for backup. Surely there would have been cops near the Skinner’s place under the bridge and they could have trapped him.
What I found hard to believe was 80-pound Deb tackling the guy. Good thing the Skinner was so “respectful”, he didn’t fight back or try to get her off him.
Rita pissed me off again – shoving cake in Dex’s mouth as soon as he walked in the door. And intervening, er, interfering with Miguel and his wife. God, she’s a dumbass.
TV cops don’t call for backup a lot , that makes for better scenes.
But good TV cops do. I guess I shouldn’t compare every cop show to The Wire. 
As much as I’d like to see Miguel taped down on Dexter’s table and listen to their final conversation, I hope you guys are right and that he dies in some other way. His wife killing him would be good, or maybe LaGuerta.

Deb is not supposed to be a good cop, right? At least not yet.
A lot of movies and TV shows have 1 person going off on their own rather than calling others for help, it’s a standard plot device. Remember the movie Alien? At the end they all got killed because they were on their own, except for Ripley who was able to kill the alien.
I had that same thought when the blood on the shirt Miguel gave Dexter turned out to be bovine. Is he trying to set Dexter up? Or maybe he and Ramon are in cahoots and wanted their brother dead for some reason, when Dexter unwittingly did their dirty work for them?
So many possibilities!
