I’m in northern Georgia as well, and haven’t had any issues. A local friend of mine called Sat evening because his was out. Turned out to be DNS related. As soon as I had him specify 8.8.8.8 as his DNS, he was golden. Mine has been set that way for a while because I kept having issues resolving addresses.
Charter is rarely down for me, and has great speeds. But their DNS server needs to be shot.
