Just in case anyone was wondering, a Google search of “pope” yielded as the first result the Wikipedia page for “pope”, which has a few paragraphs about papal selection, as well as a link to an article specifically about the subject. Hell, that involves fewer keystrokes than asking a GQ about it.
So, yeah, diggleblop is now on my personal list of posters whose threads I realize ahead of time are going to be useless.
How much you wanna bet that diggleblop is/was the kind of student who’d ask the teacher questions that he wouldn’t have needed to ask if he’d just paid attention in class and/or read the textbook?
You people who are always starting new threads can really clutter up this place. I think more folks should strive for my 0.0006724 rate, (especially if I get to pick who is doing the striving).
I’ll work on it. I have 26 thread starts (.00331 rate); if I never start another I’ll equal yours after only 30,000 more posts.
The questions don’t merely *seem *stupid, they actually are stupid. And even when they are not completely idiotic, they are usually phrased so stupidly that they are almost unintelligible (leading to longer threads than are warranted as people try to figure out what he was asking). Furthermore, I seriously suspect diggleblop is too stupid to know what trolling is, even as he does it.
See, the problem with this is that that will just encourage the diggleblops of the world to starting posting more stupid shit in other people’s threads.
Chiming in here. I’ve often noticed him, and noticed other people complaining about bad OPs in GQ. it’s gotten to the point where I, and many others, are now second-guessing every OP we put in GQ. Yes, what we should do - but so should he!
