But if ten people say variations of X you can reply to the entire concept of X.
But that would be too easy. Replying to every instance of X gets you more posts and more attention.
I don’t give a fuck about attention. If I don’t respond to every post individually then people start accusing me of ignoring them or not answering the questions. I am not just talking to myself in those threads.

Anyhow, I’m still a fan, Dio. My channel is always tuned to the Dio show. You’re quite entertaining and you taught me more important lessons about Christianity than 10 years of Bible study and and 29 years of deprogramming put together. So you can’t beat that.

The thing is Dio, you have to learn to accept the fact that sometimes people are going to be wrong. Tell them what you think is right and once you’ve got the message across, let it go. You don’t have an obligation to fix every mistake on the internet.
What do you want me to do? LEAVE? Then they’ll keep being wrong.
Come on, is this really the worst people have to complain about? This is the second Pit thread on Dio in the last two weeks and the third in the last month and a half. In the spanking thread provided, all Dio did was voice his opinion, people started debating him on it, and it turned into a topical conversation. Personally, although he is a little overboard sometimes (as are we all), he has seemed to be a knowledgeable poster over the years and I see no reason to rake the man over the coals incessantly.
Yep. I agree 100% with his Dioness on this issue. I think it’s ridiculous that people get on Dio’s ass for responding to questions or comments that other posters direct at Dio.
The real problem is his absolute stances and general dumbassery (e.g., starting with a badly explained extreme position, then scaling it back and explaining it), not the fact that he responds to questions and comments directed at him.
Diogenes’ postings often include annoying dumbassery.
On the other hand, his remarks in this thread on the paranormal have been logical, temperate and useful.
The contributions of both Dio and another oft-reviled poster (Der Trihs) are valuable even if one only looks at their service in the cause of anti-woo.
Perhaps you should, for your health if nothing else. You spend an inordinate amount of time posting here, and most of your posts are absolutist responses to opinions, whereby you dismiss those opinions and state your opinion as fact.
Very bizarre. Your posting here what 17 times a day leads me to believe you should take a break from message boards and try to address your apparent psychological insecurities wrt to real life.
You are “acting out”, albeit on a message board, but you obviously have some self-confidence issues.

You have to respect something that can voluntarily turn itself inside out.
Except his opinion was that everyone else was telling the woman that she doesn’t have a right to decide who disciplines her child which was so far from what was actually being said that it was in the next galaxy. And if anyone tried to explain this to him they were told they were denying the mother her parental rights and in favor of child abuse.

Or even better yet, let’s pool together some money and buy Dio his own message board. He can call it “The Straight Dio” where everything he says will always be right, of course. To keep him placated we can even e-mail questions for him to answer. He’ll be busy pulling the answer out of his ass and typing “I’m always right and you’re always wrong!” but at least it’ll keep that shit off of this board. Hell, I’d chip in $5 a year for that.
