You shouldn’t need to rely on that ! You should be in control !!
I’m surprised they haven’t started allowing people to buy “meaningful” phrases
(like prime.minister.office). Maybe they could, so long as the phrase doesn’t already
exist or has never been accessed - eg if it’s in the middle of an ocean - or something.
It looks like they could use the money; according to wikipedia they seem to be
losing millions every year.
We have an off-brand Roomba by Shark. I send it out about 2-3 times a week, when Mrs Magill is not working (it keeps bumping into her door). It keeps the rabbit hair mostly in check.
We have two Roombas. One in the master and one in the kitchen/dining area. I’m always shocked by how much they pick up, even when things look “clean.” Being able to go under the bed and other furniture is a nice feature.
Yes, but I wouldn’t call it either little/no impact or major impact. Somewhere in the middle.
And it occurs to me that since the reference is a bar I’ve been presuming hard cider, and voted accordingly. But maybe sweet cider is meant. But vodka wouldn’t be my alcohol of choice to mix with sweet cider, anyway.
I wasn’t sure how to vote when the options were “State Police” or “Highway Patrol”
In Washington we have “State Patrol” which I assumed was more like State Police than Highway Patrol.
Our neighbors have a commercial apple orchard. They brought their cider to a party recently. He got my attention and took me over to where he was setting up a punch-bowl with his apple cider. There was a bottle of Makers Mark bourbon there as well. Turns out bourbon and apple cider go very well together.
It’s my understanding that a few states have State Police who have broader law enforcement powers than the “normal” State Police would, who are generally tasked with things like patrolling highways and securing state government buildings, and not so much other policing stuff.
I chose 100% cider because I live in the UK and “cider” here is always a somewhat strong alcoholic drink and I don’t particularly like the other 2 things. I forgot you Americans call non-alcoholic apple juice “cider”.
He is mostly free-roaming. He is allowed out in the morning and evening, when he can be supervised. No matter how much you think you’ve rabbit-proofed your cables, those teeth will find a way.
Yeah, my wife got a couple of rabbits and envisioned them roaming free about the house, but that just wasn’t practical. Plus they leave little round poops everywhere. Haven’t had those animals in 5 years and I’m still finding rabbit shit every now and then.
He has a pretty big hutch, and he was easily litter trained, but yeah - the little round droppings can be a problem. That and his scent marking mostly cleared up after a little snip-snip.
I’ve got the cheapest model Roomba, which I purchased shortly after I got a cat. A very fluffy cat. Just sticking to my old routine of vacuuming once a week was not keeping up with the cat hair. Running the Roomba 3 times a week mostly keeps it in check.
In Minnesota as well. They used to be the State Highway Patrol, but some peeps got their undies in a bundle over jurisdiction because of the name and this makes it more clear that the patrol cars can indeed chase after lawbreakers once they leave the highway.
