Same. But because they were public, i peeked at how other people voted, out of curiosity. I mean, I’ve heard of must of the bands, i didn’t bother looking at the ones about bands i didn’t know anything about.
The Do You Vote In Public Polls Poll could use an “it depends” option.
Firinstance, I probably would not participate in a public poll that revealed that I once, in my reckless youth, put ketchup on a hot dog.

This is Pluto erasure and I will not stand for it! 
I’m not sure what bar y’all use to get the “unread” button. I usually get there from the hamburger menu, where i still see it.
I would sure as hell notice if it disappeared from there.
That’s how I usually get to it, but there used to be a yellow notification on the other side of the magnifying glass. It told me when I had unread posts in the threads I was tracking.
My SDMB home page is the unread page.
You can set that someplace, I forget just where. Probably somewhere in your preferences.
I solved it by changing my bookmark to the Unread page.
I considered adding it to the poll (with a note about its status) but figured nobody would vote for it anyway.
I probably would have. The photos from the Pluto Kuiper Express mission were incredible.
