Do you pee in the shower?

Why yes, I do. Why do you ask, Yellowfoot?

I stagger into the bathroom in the morning and shower. If I have to pee then, I will pee in the toilet before getting into the shower. However, if I have to pee while I’m in the shower, then I see no harm in it flowing down amidst the water, soap, body oils, dead skin, dirt, etc that is already going down the drain.

In the middle of the night, it’s a helluva lot easier to whiz in the shower than to try and get it in the bowl while you’re still half asleep. It’s just be another mess to clean up in the morning. :frowning:

You can catch it and toss it over the top of the curtain if you have really good aim.

Post/ User name combo FTW

Best tweet of the election season: “Mitt Romney is the kind of guy that gets out of the shower to take a piss.”

Ahh, but do you prepare dinner in the shower?

I rinse out with water when I’m done. If I do that in the shower, the water will be hot. Hot water tastes and feels gross.

I have grown to prefer hot (or warm) water for teeth brushing.

Why is it that you peeing in the shower elicits a ‘meh’ from me, but the notion that you brush your teeth while showering is gross to me.

I don’t think that makes sense.

As for myself: I don’t have a problem with people peeing in the shower. I don’t do it myself - unless I’m really drunk (which I, alas, haven’t been in years).

That said, maybe having kids desensitized me. TMI to follow: I was giving my little girl a bath. She was twoish. So she’s all clean and playing in the tub.

What comes next is not pee.

What came next involved getting my darling out of the tub, yelling for my wife. Holding my little girl up above the tub, while my wife used the shower head to clean the…um… remnants off of her.

After my baby was safely taken away in a towel, it was up to me to drain the tub and to make sure all the remnants made it down the drain. This involved some chopsticks and an iron stomach.

So again, I have to admit I am oddly puzzled as to why brushing your teeth in the shower is gross to me…

If everyone pees in the shower, I still don’t understand why the guy at Home Depot was so upset.

that’s good and bad.

if you use a bowl freshener then your hair has a slight scent if you want that.

the oil takes much longer to pour.

Indeed it is

He’ll, I used one of their toilets, so I don’t know why they kicked me out…

The OP might get a better response if you posted this to Pee Interest.

Do they talk about pee there?

Huh, funny, several people have mentioned how gross or weird brushing teeth with hot water is. So you’re not alone, although I’m not sure why brushing teeth with hot water/in the shower is wrong.

Couple of years ago my bathroom sink got stopped up for about a week until I got around to getting a pipe wrench and cleaning out the P-trap. Since I couldn’t use the sink and using the kitchen sink to brush my teeth seemed weird, I just started doing it in the shower. Made sense and the habit has stuck.

You ATE it?!!

Sure. Keeps the drain clear.

So, you’re friends with the urinator.

There’s a fine line. Peeing while you’re taking a shower is okay. But peeing while you’re doing the dishes is a bad idea.
