There’s a fine line. Peeing while you’re taking a shower is okay. But peeing while you’re doing the dishes is a bad idea.

I have peed in there, but it’s not as if I do it regularly. I masturbate in there much more often. I shave in there every day. And for some reason, the idea of brushing my teeth in the shower sort of grosses me out. I blow my nose in there. I have never, to my knowledge, taken a dump or puked in the shower.

I guess that covers all of my bodily functions.

The other day, I heard my older son calling me from his shower. He wanted me to hand him a kleenex, so he could blow his nose. I told him to just blow into his fingers.

“Ew! That’s gross!”

“Yes, but you’re surrounded by soap. You can wash your hands when you’re done.”

And he was enlightened.

After my baby was safely taken away in a towel, it was up to me to drain the tub and to make sure all the remnants made it down the drain. This involved some chopsticks and an iron stomach.

Now if I ever buy another house I see there is a 67% chance the shower will have been peed in. Bring out the bleach.
