He’s already been in it (as an evil headmaster if i remember).
Given Adam’s “stories” would presumably include the episodes of Dr Who that he wrote then i suspect that would cause some kind of paradox

Wait, the Brig is still alive?
Hunh, so he is. Well, good to know.
It’s not a paradox, it’s a timey wimey ball! lol but yeah I forgot about that. Did he actually write any scripts that turned into real episodes, or was it just that one that he rewrote to be the third Hitchhikers book?
He wrote The Pirate Planet, co-wrote City of Death, and was script editor for The Armageddon Factor through The Horns of Nimron.
Gimme a 60-minute special of Rose and the doctor’s daughter doing nothing but that and I’d be very entertained for 60 minutes.
As for a possible special that might actually happen, I’d like an attempt to create a new nemesis for the Doctor. I’m not really familiar with anything before Eccleston’s Doctor and I understand them introducing all the old villains, but I’d really like to see a new villain that becomes a recurring character and not just around for one or two episodes.
Okay. A story I’d like to see in a Special? How about this?
Sarah Jane has done a bit of research, and has organised a get-together dinner for … every single one of the Doctor’s previous companions (well, those who can be rationalised as being on Earth on the early 21st century, and whose actors are still alive). Just as an excuse to chew the fat about the good old times with the Doctor.
In the middle of which, of course, the Doctor himself shows up, and is rather startled to see them all.
I’ve been daydreaming about this plot for at least a couple of years now. Admittedly it’d be hard to justify after the multiple companions on the Series Four ending, but still. It would be fun.
It’s true that Anthony Head was the headmaster, but Doctor Who has a history of people recurring in different role. While I enjoyed the episode he was in, I thought they wasted his talent by not making him the Master.
I also support the return of the Brigadier, I just bought The Invasion on dvd, which features the first UNIT story, although not the Brigadiers first appearance. The animated replacement episodes by Cosgrove Hall are fantastic. Why can’t they do something similar with Evil of the Daleks? As far as I know the soundtrack still exists.
The NuCybermen fit that bill, they’re completely disjointed from the Cybermen of old.
The animation really fits in very well with the rest of the episode. From what I’ve heard, the numbers were enough to pay for the work done, but didn’t encourage the Beeb to sign them up for any other stories.
Shame, I would have bought it.
The synopsis for the story sounds good, it would be a real antidote to the Dalek stories from NuWho.
The Slitheen fit the bill. They were created for the new series and have been in two Dr. Who episodes and two Sarah Jane Adventures.

And Shada. Admittedly, that was only half filmed, but it was redone as a cartoon with the eighth Doctor.
All of which were, IMHO, unfortunately crap. If they are to create a recurring enemy, which BTW I like the idea of, please don’t let it be farting aliens in rubber people suits.
which reminded me of something i haven’t heard for a long time.
was that the bell in the TARDIS’ cloisters tolling at the end of ‘left turn’???
if i remember rightly (and that’s always debate-worthy with me), the last time i heard it was somewhere around the baker/davison regeneration. it wasn’t a good thing then, either.
and the brig’s gonna be on sarah jane? yippeee!
so where’s my darling sergeant benton, then???
Making tea for Jo Grant.
Yes.
The episode Castrovalva had the cloister bell, but wasn’t the only one. Later the one episode with the eighth doctor has a cloister bell. God I hate that doctor. i’m sure it tolls even more between them and Left Turn.
How about the super secret missing episodes of the time when Captain Jack was the Doctor’s companion? (as vaguely hinted in one episode or another-- I noticed the hint acutely) Hawt (in my imagination). Could be the follow-up to the Rose Tyler naked jumping jacks series.
It is my impression that the Doctor doesn’t have relationships because he is so long lived. Certainly not with Captain Jack, who is so damned tacky.
Nice to know I’m not the only one who thinks that.
