Don't Bump This Thread!

Shucks. We had a quarter of an inch of snow in 2009. The newspapers were saying that the last time there was “measurable snow” was in 1976.

I think I’ll go sit on the porch and get some sun, while it’s out. Bump.

The forecast says that I might be able to do that too, in a few days.

Bump.

More bumpin’ rain, “mix” and snow for the next few days. I’m not going out, so I don’t care.

Yay! My electricity has decided to BUMP back on!

Great to hear, Beck!

Bump.

Welcome back, Beck! We missed you.

Bump.

To reiterate what I’ve said previously: The Beck is Back!

Pssst! Ya gotta say bump!

An early evening bump

Pump? Dump? Thump? Clump?

Ohhh … bump!

Bump the chump?

Oddly, there are no polysyllabic rhymes for bump. At least there are none without including a second word. “Condensation pump” has five syllables, but it relies on “pump”, which only has one.

Cool fact! Thanks for that.

Bump.

Wow, that’s bumpin’ amazing, Yllaria!

But… there’s this.

And I will admit I did think of a rimshot: ba-da-bump! But I doubt that it would be found in the Oxford English Dictionary.

In case it wasn’t clear: bump.

Excellent! I’m not sure about ba-da-bump for a larger audience, but it certainly works here. And you can find references on google. I consider panache45’s three-syllable rhyme to be fully documented.

And, morning bump.

Yes, the bumpin’ Heffalump!

Late afternoon bump.

Thursday night bump.

Do stinging insects play and officiate baseball games?

Sure. Haven’t you heard of a B Ump?
