Don't tell anybody. A Big Secret MMP

Thanks for the kind concern everyone. My brother is stable and has gone back home again, but he is definitely being put on the liver transplant list, which means relocating to a larger city (Auckland NZ), closer to the specialists.

I am about to retire to the boudoir for the night. I’s tahrd. Sleep shall be no problem tonight methinks.

{{{Butters}}} I am so sorry for your loss. Denise, her family, and friends are in my thoughts and prayers.

BatKid glad your brother is doin’ better. Here’s hopin’ a suitable donor is found soonest.

Nitey Nite Y’all!

I’m so sorry about Denise, butters. I know it was expected, but that doesn’t always make it easier.

Do you deliver doggio? :stuck_out_tongue:

Everything in the kitchen is set up but the spice rack and crap on the walls. That required a trip to Target when I went out for the supper run (Popeye’s #2 with red beans and rice).

After talking to Older Sister, it sounds like Dad may have had a mini-stroke. That would explain much.

{{{{Butters}}}}

Batkid, hope all goes well for your brother.

Big Kitty, old age is hell. I went through it with my dad and it’s hard on the family, I know. Be strong and hugs to you.

swampy, I swear that your are in this religion thing for the eats…

Did some youth soccer stuff this morning and then had my nap interrupted by thunder-boomers, but outside of that, nothing much.

Sure, but it might be a little cold by the time I get there.

Add me to the list of those who don’t like blackberries. Or blueberries, or raspberries, or strawberries.

I remember picking huckleberries on Spruce Knob when I was a kid. My mother kept warning to me to watch out for snakes.
That was before it was a tourist destination. My uncle’s farm was part way up the mountain.

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Vacation starts in eleven and a half hours.

Good morning! I’m actually somewhat rested. I crashed around 9, and since **FCD **was sleeping on the guest bed (it’s lower, so easier for him to get in and out of) I wasn’t wakened by him getting up all night long. I’m assuming he didn’t have any problems because I told him to call me if he needed me. He’s still abed, so I’ll find out later.

Laundry is the biggie on today’s list. Plus today’s the day I change his dressing and he can shower. Apart from that no plans. I should clear the way so I can pull the camper out - a potential buyer is coming on Tuesday afternoon. I need to box up the stuff that’s accumulated on top of it. Seems that any horizontal surface in this house accumulates stuff…

And I may mosey down to my studio, maybe not…

Happy Sunday!

Yesterday in a concert, I played the kazoo and made monkey noises. Good times.

Midget,

I got up at 5:10am (NOT my plan) and decided to do something I only do 3-4 times a year…got dressed, drove 20 miles, and got Fresh Krispy Kreme donuts from the local KK store.

There may be better, more delicious foods than a half-dozen Krispy Kreme glazed donuts right from the fryer, but I can’t think of any right now. I am blissfully in sugar heaven.

**Midget **- dare I hope you made monkey noises *with *the kazoo??

I’m truly in a minority, because I just don’t get the appeal of KK - too sweet, too greasy, weird mouth-feel… I’ll take a plain bagel over KK any day.

My sweetie got up, did the bathroom thing, then went back to bed. I hope he’s getting good sleep, poor baby.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 74 Amurrkin out and cloudy with a predicted high of 92 and rain/tstorm/apocalypse for the day. Rain is predicted over the next four days. We shall see. Today’s plan calls for the makeage of cheese thangs and a visit to the nursin’ home in Dawson to celebrate JDD’s parents 72 weddin’ anniversary. I shall eventually gear myself up enough to achieve cheese thangs. I must. I promised I would.

MetalMouse food ain’t the only reason but it ranks up there.

OK, that’s all I got for now. I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, onward into the day!

Happy Sunday Y’all!

**FCD **is up, showered, and re-bandaged. I’m showered, dressed, and fed. I de-scummed the critters’ water fountain (ick) and I’ve got the first load in the washer. Today is a 5 load day! Yoiks!

So much for a relaxing weekend.

I’ve performed kazoo at both Carnegie Hall and The Kennedy Center

from my seat in the audience, during intermission, at PDQ Bach concerts

Today’s the day I head to the Speedwayville Horsepistol for Dad-sitting duty. Let us all take a moment to thank our deities of choice that the Olympics are on. This is the only thing that will keep me from having to hear political rants all day.

Happy Sunday!

It’s a sunny 73 degrees outside. We’re waiting until 10 to start some work outside.
I may irk a little today even though I told myself I was taking the weekend off.

I’d be in trouble Big Kitty, I don’t want to hear about the Olympics any more than I want to hear about politics.
I guess it’s part of getting old and grumpy.

Have fun on Lawn Guyland, doggio!

{{{big kitty}}}

I’m working on the living room/studio today. Then I will go to the grocery store for things to make a real supper.

There are no blackberries out back.
I hadn’t thought about it until a certain Mean Person mentioned them
Drat and Blurf!
