I’m back on the Maybe list. My husband’s gone off hunting, and the kids are out shoveling the driveway. It’s pretty long, though, and slopes down toward the garage. I’m gonna go out and help, but if that damn plow covers up the end of the driveway one more time, I’ll need someone to come bail me outta jail.
I just drove back from Germantown to Northern Virginia and the roads are just fine. The major roads like the beltway are clear and not icy. Main roads seem fine too. So I don’t think anyone will have a problem getting to the party! See everyone in a few hours!
I was just out booting around town, and it’s CLEAR and NOT SNOWING. Come! We’ve got too much food!
We’ll be leaving in the next few minutes. Kate’s up from her nap and getting dressed.

BiblioCat - we have Dopefests pretty often around here; you won’t have to wait until spring, unless you really want to. Next MAD get-together is on December 27 at AnitaVacation’s.

Most of the food was sent on its way with Hamadryad and the Tarklings (who just left for home about a half-hour ago), and the house is back in its proper order.
NYC-bird: Your dishes etc are here. We’ll bring them to Anita’s. Dave danced with glee when the salsa was found!
