Serious question: would it be possible for me to catch a ride (both ways, if possible) with someone/several someones? I live in Howard County (Maryland) near where 108 and 216 intersect (ten minutes or so from Columbia) and am completely flexible regarding arrival and departure times. Hi all,
I’m afraid I underestimated the amount of travel time it would take for me to attend (about 50 minutes one way, according to Mapquest), and I don’t think I can come unless I can get a ride with someone to and back. I can’t drive (chronic illness), and I don’t feel I can ask for a ride from someone not attending knowing it would take them four hours to drop me off and pick me up (sadly I am not popular enough to have separate willing drivers each way). I live in Howard County, near where Rts. 216 and 108 intersect.
Is there any way I could get a ride from someone? I’d be happy to chip in for gas money/compensation for having to go out of your way and can leave arrival/departure times up to you. And I’m not bad company.
