To no one and everyone, I’ve thought a little bit about this whole thing in regard to some of the more recent posts.
In retrospect I’m surprised I did it myself. As I’ve mentioned a number of times in various threads, I don’t have a problem going bare in a nude-friendly context IRL, like a nude beach. But usually there, there’s nobody there who knows me otherwise. This is a little different, because some of you already know me after a fashion. I think we normally tend to picture each other clothed, which definitely makes it a new experience to exhibit ourselves to each other naked this way. I wouldn’t have thought that this was going to be the first way I would introduce myself visually to this community, but it so happens that I just got a webcam (which also takes great stills) about a month ago, and this thread came up. Yeah, I’m behind the times; I didn’t get a CD player until about 93.
For me, personally, it’s not about exhibiting genitals per se, but about being able to show the entire, uninterrupted sweep one’s body, without the interruption or distraction of clothes. When looking at a female nude, this for me is the enticing aspect, not just that I can see the details of her anatomy specifically. I think I am in favor of a little exhibitionism on the part of both genders. Women are beautiful and alluring. Men not so much, from my perspective, but, if I see a guy in something scanty like a thong (not that I ever do, really), I think, good for him to have the guts to do that.

Well, my SO (who is also a member of this forum) and I had talked about taking a shot together - and that might still happen. In the meantime, here’s one I had taken prior to meeting him that he’s already seen.
As you can see, I’m not just slightly curvy - but y’know - if I was too skinny - i might topple over.

UPDATE: I just got warned by Flickr. I had marked the pictures as ‘restricted’ and thought that was enough, but they tell me I have to tell them the type of content. From the language of the rule, it sounds like they mean that when uploading, the member simply has to indicate whether it’s a photo, a clip, or something else–but the confusing thing about that is it doesn’t seem to help anyone to know that it’s a photo, without knowing what it’s a photo of.
By their normal procedure, apparently someone else had seen the pictures and complained, so the admins at Flicker went and fixed it, but if it happens again they say I’ll be terminated. I’m not planning to post any further bare-all portraits in the immediate future, but probably will want to post other things and don’t want to be kicked out. Does anyone know more about how their policies work? Of course I’ve asked them, but they haven’t gotten back to me yet.

I think it was good - interesting if nothing else. I disagree that it lowered the tone (and am apparently a stupid child for thinking so).
For the most part, well done. I thank anyone who posted pix. I also have to compliment the Dopers for being tastefully naked rather than try to be gross. I didn’t look at everyone, but I do have appreciation for those that were here.
