Aww, thank you both.
I owe it all to my Axe Body Spray. It’s wafting though your monitors right this instant.

This is me, wearing my new, larger hat.

A very fashionable headpiece, sir!

Why not?
Stopping to pose while spring cleaning

Jebus but you’re gorgeous!

Any resemblance to a sand worm is just a trick of the light.

Did you ever get the boat working, ie. not tipping over?

Yes - the outrigger was quite successful - details here:

I plan to get it on the water again soon. I’m also toying with the idea of a small sail…

Oh my, she is.
I had no idea before how addictive these picture threads could be. We’ve added some from last month (May) in northern Thailand.
The wife and I clowning around with a lovely lady named Phanom outside of the town of Pai, in Mae Hong Son province.
And a couple more of the three of us are here and here.
Here we are enjoying a meal of northern-Thai cuisine in Chiang Mai. Chiang Mai is the main city in the North. The waiter took this photo and managed to make it a bit blurry, but the setting is nice.
And at Mae Yen Temple overlooking the town of Pai.
Are elephants as awesome as I like to think they are?

And more. The most fantastic creatures.
We took that one out bareback in the countryside for three hours (with a mahout, or elephant keeper, along; we’re not THAT skilled), and at our age that was probably at least an hour longer than was wise. We couldn’t walk straight for about 24 hours afterward, and it was about that long before I could pee again without it hurting. ![]()
But they exert less pressure per square inch on the ground than a deer’s hoof. They can use their trunk to pick up a log or a pencil. Truly magnificent beasts.

Fascinating! I will shamefully admit to knowing very little about elephants. I’m going to have to do a little research. I’ve always thought them to be so majestic.
I have a deep wish that I will one day be friends with an elephant. (And yes, I think that friendship with animals is perfectly possible, plausible, and valid.)
Fresh pictures – as of this evening.
Tripler
I was shooting for kickass muttonchops, but ended up with two sides of pork. :smack:
Opal I am so sorry to hear about your cat! You are really a gorgeous and classy looking woman.

Chops rock. Give it a couple weeks!
I don’t know why, but Tripler, you remind me of some British gangster from one of those movies like Trainspotting that always has a bunch of crazy British guys in it. I really have no idea why this is. And I mean it as a compliment.
Gotta love Photo Booth.
YAY!
I am PERPETUALLY late to the party. Gr. If anyone cares, here’s me slacking at work, trying to be cute, and attempting to be sorta hot. M’eh.

Race ya! (I’m in the white shirt.)
Wow - that’s a pretty impressive contrivance - looks like it might not have been good on cornering - am I right?

Stubbly goodness.

Is that your kitty grooming in the background? If so, I don’t think he/she was quite ready for you to snap the pic.
BTW, you’re cute!
