Notice something weird in the pictures of He-Dopers, incidentally: we have more beards than you’d find per-capita on most men anywhere this side of 1878. I wonder if there’s a mystery there.

I can’t answer for anyone else, but it’s pretty much just plain laziness on my part. I’ll pull out a razor for special occasions and to clean up for certain things at work, but otherwise, I just use clippers.
