Speaking only for myself – while I was born in the U.S. (and so I am considered a citizen of the US, and even own a passport) I have been living in Israel since the age of 1 (except for 3 years spent in the US, all before the age of 20), and definitely consider myself an Israeli first, an American second.
It’s late, so I’m not going to search for it, but we had a thread on this same topic a few months back. Someone even made a map with Doped countries colored in. Find that, and combine it with this thread’s responses to get a fuller picture.
I, for one, have lived in the Netherlands 30 of my 31 years (one year on exchange program with Sweden). I also know for sure that Maastricht is a ‘true’ Dutchie.
I was going simply by what people noted as their location. I was thinking we were tracking where everyone was posting from, not their actual citizenship.
