Ummm I’m thinking you misunderstood why I said he was cranky…it’s his comments that make him seem cranky… I’d like to just sit down and drink some beers with the dude so he’d chill out. Maybe he can cook spanakopita. I like greek food.
He has had about 10 in the last 10 days that are kind of flip. Doesn’t have anything to do with decisions reasonable or not so don’t assume I’m talkin’ about stuff I am not…don’t be so defensive…makes you seem cranky too.

Umm, I’m thinking you’re being a bit disingenuous about your motives, mipiace. I’m aware of the comments he’s made and I don’t find them cranky at all, just forthright. Obviously, your mileage varies. Moreover, it’s silly that he should have to deal with snipes (no matter how “gentle”) in threads that have nothing to do with his thread closings.
I can get along with anyone as long as they’re not rolling their virtual eyes at me while asking why we can’t get along.

Of course the entire OMFG gang; my life line/support system/sounding board. It’ll probably happen eventually; I’m going to be travelling way too much to not to drop in when I get the chance. I’m just bummed it’s going to have to be one person at a time, because all of us in one room would be a blast. Possibly also illegal.

Thanks Maureen - drop me an email anytime you are in New England. The Mrs. and I would be happy to you and the Mr. over for a bite to eat and some good conversation. And of course we’d have our drinks in the Den…it’s kinda neat that it’s 15 feet up in a tree 
It is fully insulated now, and is quite warm. It’s got electricity, just no plumbing. The siding is finally finished, and it matches the shingles on our house. Roof totally secured and the stairs up to it are easy to climb as we made the step hright 5"…
And yes, I think you would be a wonderful woman to meet as well.

When I can get my new website up. I’m taking my time because it is going to be a basis for my business if I should want to take an early retirement…tho I don’t see that happening for quite a while. I love my job. And Tanookie for the OP…I wouldn’t mind meeting you as well. Maybe a new england dopefest could be had with enough planning. My wife and I love to host…
